WALKER COLLEGE FOUNDATION GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

for students attending Bevill State Community College - Jasper Campus

The majority of Walker College Foundation (WCF) scholarships are full-tuition scholarships to Bevill State - Jasper Campus (with some exceptions for career technical programs) renewable to Bevill State for up to two years. Our goal is to help students earn a two-year associate degree during the time they are in our scholarship program. To renew this scholarship each semester, students must maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA, attend WCF student events, participate in at least one community service project each semester, and write thank you notes to donors who make these scholarships possible.

Students who are awarded this scholarship are members of our WCF Scholars’ Society. They are provided monthly student lunches, job skills sessions from community leaders, a place to study, a peer mentor, and the possibility of a transfer scholarship when they graduate with an associate degree from Bevill State.

NOTE: Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before applying for a WCF Scholarship. Your Student Aid Index (SAI) score is used to determine recipients for scholarships that are based on financial need. An application submitted without an SAI score will not be considered unless you have special family issues that prevent your FAFSA completion.
